The owner of this farm is Mr. Sugiura, who was the only a man taking care of 2 hectares of farmland abandoned by local people until 2022. The local farmers became too old to keep working on the farm. Mr. Sugiura cultivates, harvests crops, even makes fertilizer and processes the harvest into products. He is working not only for crops, but also for conserving the environment and the beautiful scenery of living fields in the countryside of Japan.

The organic farm is close to the great city Nara , which was the old capital of Japan of several ages!

This project is actively working for SDG2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGS15 (Life on Land). This project is co-organized with "Sugiura Farm" that engages in organic farming for pursuing food safety and an environmental-friendly society.

Supporting in crop production through pesticide-free and environmentally friendly agriculture. Volunteers will also cut grass on abandoned fields and restore farmland. Participants may also perform other farm work such as spreading compost on fields and harvesting!

Volunteers will acquire the knowledge of organic farming.

In their free time they might visit hot springs, temples and shrines.

Short trip to main city in Nara will be organised. Nara is the former capital of Japan (very rich on historical moniments and traces of Middle Age Japanese beauty!)

Volunteers stay at an old Japanese house next to the local host's. Volunteers cook by themselves by turn. Smoking is not allowed. The host has a cat.

Language of communication - English and some Japanese.| The host coordiantor speaks English.

It is located in Gose city, Nara pref. which is about 50 km southeast of Osaka.
The nearest airport is KIX (Osaka). To the meeting point, it will take about 2 hours by train. Volunteers need to arrive at the airport by 10:00 on 1st day and can leave there after 19:00 on the last day.

Здесь воплощена идея по "театрализации жизни", этот эксперимент начался более 10 лет назад — и сегодня можно наблюдать первые плоды бесшабашных опытов.
«Желтая мельница» расположена в часе езды от Парижа в городке Креси-ла-Шапель (регион Бри). На территории резиденции произрастают волшебные сады – Черный, Белый, Желтый, Фиолетовый... Каждый цвет — это особый мир и отдельная история. Сад-эксцентрик, сад-буффон. Природа здесь полна гротеска, а каждый садовник — большой фантазер.
"Желтая мельница" активно взаимодействует с местным муниципалитетом и развивает общественно-полезные проекты: культурный обмен, социализация подростков, экологическое просвещение, строительство театра для региона.
Сад ЖМ – всегда не только сцена, но и полноценный персонаж всех перформансов и представлений. Для помощи в проведении садовых работ сюда приезжают волонтеры из Франции, России, Украины, Финляндии и других стран.

Девушки высаживали луковичные растения, по очереди помогали по кухне, а еще мы помогали художнику изготавливать арт-объекты! Юноши помогали укреплять берега речки. Не всегда это было просто, особенно физически, но всегда интересно. И работа организована очень красиво и разумно. Она занимала около 6 часов в день, все остальное время мы могли свободно перемещаться по саду, выезжать на велосипедные прогулки по живописным окрестностям, а в выходные мы доехали до Парижа!»

Сад "Желтой Мельницы" внесен в списки удивительных садов Франции и имеет статус "jardin remarquable" . Как минимум один раз в месяц сад открывается для посещения, и каждый желающий может прийти на праздник, представление или пикник.

Условия

Если вы прошли собеседование, необходимо внести взнос. Часть взноса идет на поддержку отправляющей организации в России, часть - на реализацию одного из международных волонтерских лагерей в России, а часть – на обеспечение участников поддержкой от координатора группы: визовые консультации, организация проезда и культурной программа во время проекта, а также встреча волонтеров в Париже.
Взнос не идет принимающей стороне!
Принимающая сторона предоставляет волонтерам бесплатное питание (3-х разовое) и проживание (в 2-3х местных комнатах). Расходы на дорогу, страховку и на оформление визы волонтеры несут самостоятельно. Принимающая сторона высылает приглашение. На территории «Желтой мельницы» есть WiFi.

Семейный благотворительный фонд, работающий для жителей одного из густонаселенных и бедных районов Касабланки, принимает волонтеров из разных стран, чтобы расширить возможности общения для воспитанников фонда и дать им новые перспективы.
Целевая аудитория фонда - матери-одиночки, семьи, дети, подростки. Фонд располагает 2мя зданиями, которые представляют собой социально-культурные и образовательные комплексы. Здесь находится и медицинский центр, и курсы профессионального образования, и ясли, и детский сад, курсы танцев, шитья и вышивки и т.д. Ежедневно фонд работает с почти тысячей посетителей и учеников. На образовательных курсах фонда получают основы грамотности и поддержку в обучении около 800 взрослых и 1100 детей в год.
Волонтеры могут применить свои таланты и способности, а также могут выполнять работу, не требующую специальных навыков.

Вид работ

Работа в фонде есть всегда: швейное и вышивальное производство, танцевальные классы, школа, летние лагеря, сад и пермакультурный огород. Принимают волонтеров, которые могут быть помощниками преподавателей, помогать в приготовлении пищи, в проведении мероприятий. Обязательно знание английского языка на достаточном для общения уровне. Огромным плюсом будет знание французского или арабского.

Фонд располагается в небогатом квартале Касабланки, но занимает со всеми своими классами, залами и мастерскими целый квартал. Проживать можно также в одном из корпусов. А задачи волонтеров очень разнообразны, как и сама деятельность фонда.
От приготовления еды до преподавания, от садоводства до участия в творческих активностях.

Условия

9,5 евро (входит оплата проживания, но не входит питание).

Период волонтерства: с октября по июль. Август и сентябрь - волонтеров не принимают.

Питание
Питание обеспечено, когда волонтер находится в здании школы, выполняя рабочие задачи. Это может быть завтрак и обед. Остальное питание - за свой счет (кафе за 1,5-2 евро, а поужинать за 3-5 евро, либо самостоятельное приготовление еды)

Свободное время:
В выходные можно отправиться в путешествие, посмотреть страну, Касабланка расположена на берегу океана. Принимающая сторона поможет, сориентирует и подскажет, что как и когда можно посетить как турист.

Вы можете практиковать как французский, так и английский языки.

Взнос 350 евро покрывает затраты на проживание (за дом мы платим аренду) и питание (волонтерам предоставляются продукты, они готовят сами, но часто приходит повар из местных волонтеров или сотрудников организации и готовит блюда местной и европейской кухни). The zoo is located in the amazon region of Ecuador, in a small town called Tarqui, which is located 10 minutes from Puyo city. The zoorefugio is in 2 hectares of land and it has a quarantine area, a nutrition area, a clinic and the exhibitors of the wild life, in other side five people with experience work in the zoo.
In the Amazon, the weather runs from brilliantly sunny to downright wet (it is the rainforest), so we recommend raingear and layering work clothes, also boots and a flashlight.
Puyo is the heart of the Amazonia, there are a lot of plants and animals in the jungle, it is a tranquil and touristic city with friendly people, one hour from here is located Baños city, it is a touristic and beautiful place that you can visit in your free time.

Volunteer help is really important for all the animals, as we do not receive funds from the government, it is a hard work but it is wonderful to care of them, we need help of people that love animals and do not mind to get hands dirty, volunteers help is needed all the year.
Volunteers’ activities are from cleaning enclosures, paths, until feed the animals, caring the animals in quarantine (arrived animals, or baby animals), and work in enrichment area.
You will learn about Ecuadorian culture, share with locals, learn new skills, and learn Spanish in a natural way.

Meals and home is provided to the volunteer, We ask a fee of $200 usd per week which is intended for all the animals´ needs such as food, medicine, among other things. The fee needs to be done before the volunteer´s arrival.

We provide linen and blankets, if you are prone to chilliness, we recommend bringing a sleeping bag for extra comfort.
The house has electricity. There is internet in the house.
The house is located near the zoo. There is hot water.

There are 5 bedrooms and one shared bathroom, also there are, dinning room, living room and kitchen.
There is a communal area in the house and also a hammock to relax. The rooms are double, and single.
The availability is for 7 volunteers at the same time.

Food

Volunteers prepare their own breakfast, the host provide bread, milk, eggs, and coffee (chocolate, or tea)
The lunch and dinner are prepared by a cooker and it is served in the Zoorefugio. The food is provided by the owner.
The beverages, ice cream and others are not included in the fee.
In your days off the food is not our responsibility.

We work from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday volunteers have day off.

На зимний (январь и февраль) период нам нужен человек, который будет поливать цветы, кормить кота, следить за чистотой территории (подметать от листьев площадку пансионата.

С марта и до июня мы приглашаем помогать в подготовке открытия номерного фонда (стирка и глажка тюлей и штор, влажная уборка, покраска перил, лавочек, подготовка пляжа к открытию и т.п.)

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming
"ohenro (pilgrims)" who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago.
The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting "Kakurin-ji temple"; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage, locals are trying to find new ways for "omotenashi (hospitality)".
Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land and houses. It is up to the volunteers' creative ideas how to develop the
community. The aim is for the volunteer members to clean up the abandoned houses and village landscape and transform it into a village that people will want to visit to take photos, as it used to be a village where people came and went since ancient times.

This project is actively working for SDGs 4 (Quality Education), SDGs 11 (Sustainable city and Communities) organized together with a local NPO, Bizan Daigaku (B.D.) since 2019. B.D. is an NPO
dedicated to improving Tokushima area through various volunteer activities. Its initiatives include city landscape maintenance projects, such as planting and maintaining flower beds in the community, as well as cleaning rivers by boats. We also engage with local elementary schools and children’s centers
to foster connections with kids, and we actively join with community events and activities. The children who live in countryside face to have few opportunity to communicate with foreign people compared with city. They want to change the situation and activate both of children and the situation
of education for cultural exchange through activities with volunteers.

Sea Turtles Conservation VI-X

Based on the time of the year the volunteers will be working during the day or at night in the months of August and September from 20:00 to 08:00. Depending on the number of turtles that come ashore, two teams might be formed among the volunteers. In this way, each group will be taking turns, working one night, and taking the next night off for recovery. In addition, the weekends are also spared for resting. Some of the activities to be performed are:
1. Finding adult turtles and collecting their eggs.
2. Moving the eggs to a protected place called Vivero.
3. Releasing newborn baby turtles into the sea.
4. Patrolling the beaches at night.
5. Making some reconstruction in the most important turtle camps of the region.
Please consider that the schedule is subject to change depending on the weather conditions and the condition of the sea turtles and it is possible to work with crocodiles in case there is no work with turtles, this can happen mostly in the months of January and February. The coordinator or the camp leader will be informing you regarding your work schedule


Conditions to participate in our Workcamps:
1. To be older than 18 years.
2. To be able to communicate in English (English is the official language of all our projects)
3. To speak Spanish is recommended.
4. To participate for the whole duration of the project.
5. The start date of the project is the welcome day, and the last day is the departure day of the project.
6. The extra fee must be given to the project leader/camp coordinator in Mexican pesos on arrival to the project.
7. In the case of projects that have extra fee, the exchange rate will be informed to your volunteers by our incoming officer prior to the arrival to the camps.
8. Usually, volunteers will work five days per week followed by two days off, so they can use their leisure time to explore the area and enjoy the different activities that the places where they will stay have to offer, please do note that these conditions may vary according to the local conditions and needs of each camp.
