Волонтеры из разных стран мира приезжают на остров Сан Висенте в Кабо Верде, чтобы поучаствовать в жизни благотворительного ветцентра, где уделяют внимание местным бездомным животным. Волонтеры не только помогают в работе центра, но и финансируют его деятельность, арендуя комнаты в хостеле. Волонтер сам обеспечивает свое питание и проживание (10 евро в день за койкоместо в хостеле). Молодые врачи или студенты могут пройти практику в ветцентре у более профессиональных коллег. Если же волонтер является опытным врачом, то ему обеспечат проживание и компенсацию расходов на перелет на сумму до 600 евро.
Расходы на питание на острове невелики: есть местные заведения, где можно съесть большую порцию местной еды (рис, рыба или курица, фасоль, макароны, суп и т. д.) за 2-3 евро (причём 2 блюда), или можно сходить в небольшие ресторанчики, где вы потратите около 7-8 евро.
В хостеле и ветцентре интернациональная среда - общение ведется на английском языке.
Добраться до Кабо Верде лучше всего через Марокко или Португалию. В проект можно приехать минимум на 2 недели. Безвизовый режим для россиян позволяет оставаться в стране до 60 дней.
Принимающая сторона очень внимательно относится к мотивации волонтера: его основной целью должно быть желание помогать ветцентру, любовь к животным, стремление учиться и набираться опыта.

Volunteering in Cape Verde is an amazing experience and we accept volunteers from all over the world.
We continually need the help on every level of our work.
The main goal is caring for the animals and help in the centre in cleaning and feeding animals. You don't need any experience to volunteer with us.
Vet students and recently graduated veterinarian doctors can also come to train and get experience at the clinic, assisting operations with our local vet or another experienced volunteering vet doctor.
During your stay you can volunteer not only with our cats and dogs, but also in different projects in the community, according to your interests.
You will be able to:
patrol beaches to protect turtles;
participate in missions for cleaning beaches;
help with workshops at schools (during school time);
play with children during holidays;
play football with local teams;
visit ill children at the hospital.

В проектах подразумеваются организационный взнос, в который входит вводный курс, информационная поддержка на протяжении всего сотрудничества с волонтером, приглашения для получения визы, проживание. Во взнос включено питание, культурные мероприятия и проживание во время 2-х дневного ориентационного курса.

Оргвзнос 10 000 рублей (оплачивается в России) + основной взнос 218 евро.

Волонтеров ждут в следующих локациях:

Проживая в хостеле волонтер помогает в его бесперебойной работе. Поэтому работа в основном гостиничная: уборка номеров, помощь на кухне или в баре, работа с новыми посетителями.

Но также молодежные хостелы - это клубная сеть. Это не просто гостиница , а место, где можно получить знания о городе, расширить свой кругозор, познакомиться с людьми. Волонтеры в хостеле заботятся о создании дружелюбной атмосферы познания и осознанности. Нужна помощь в организации мероприятий, например, дебатов, выставок, творческих вечеров, караоке.

Ждут волонтеров, готовых сортировать вторсырье, помогать в развитии пермакультуры, в сокращении отходов.

Условия

Размещение: одноместный номер, иногда с собственной ванной комнатой, но обычно душ/туалет на две комнаты. Свободный доступ к кухне, прачечной. Wi-Fi.

Lao Cai has 25 ethnic groups with traditions and customs typical of the Northwest culture. Lao Cai is the most visited spot in the Northwest region, attracting more than 4 million tourists in 2018. Lao Cai has many advantages in terms of both its unique natural and cultural beauty. So working in Lao Cai, the volunteers will have chance to experience local lifestyle in daily life and specific cultures.
The General Techniques - Career Guidance and Vocational Training - Continuing Education Center (LCCEC) is located in Lao Cai City, Lao Cai province. The centre programs are designed to teach young children, secondary students, young graduates and those with special needs, English in order to help them to enter the workforce market in Lao Cai.
The center with social work aid and social protection of Lao Cai province. The center is managing and caring for 106 people, including 83 orphans and abandoned children, 07 elderly people, 18 children with mental illness and 2 disabled children. Those children and people are vulnerable, pessimistic, depressed when there are fluctuations due to early collisions and loss in life, so they often have feelings of worthlessness or low self-worth.
There are also some children who have the energy and will to overcome difficulties. The important thing is to understand, sympathize, and understand psychology properly to timely adjust the psychological trauma, motivate and encourage them to become useful people.

The zoo is located in the amazon region of Ecuador, in a small town called Tarqui, which is located 10 minutes from Puyo city. The zoorefugio is in 2 hectares of land and it has a quarantine area, a nutrition area, a clinic and the exhibitors of the wild life, in other side five people with experience work in the zoo.
In the Amazon, the weather runs from brilliantly sunny to downright wet (it is the rainforest), so we recommend raingear and layering work clothes, also boots and a flashlight.
Puyo is the heart of the Amazonia, there are a lot of plants and animals in the jungle, it is a tranquil and touristic city with friendly people, one hour from here is located Baños city, it is a touristic and beautiful place that you can visit in your free time.

Volunteer help is really important for all the animals, as we do not receive funds from the government, it is a hard work but it is wonderful to care of them, we need help of people that love animals and do not mind to get hands dirty, volunteers help is needed all the year.
Volunteers’ activities are from cleaning enclosures, paths, until feed the animals, caring the animals in quarantine (arrived animals, or baby animals), and work in enrichment area.
You will learn about Ecuadorian culture, share with locals, learn new skills, and learn Spanish in a natural way.

Meals and home is provided to the volunteer, We ask a fee of $200 usd per week which is intended for all the animals´ needs such as food, medicine, among other things. The fee needs to be done before the volunteer´s arrival.

We provide linen and blankets, if you are prone to chilliness, we recommend bringing a sleeping bag for extra comfort.
The house has electricity. There is internet in the house.
The house is located near the zoo. There is hot water.

There are 5 bedrooms and one shared bathroom, also there are, dinning room, living room and kitchen.
There is a communal area in the house and also a hammock to relax. The rooms are double, and single.
The availability is for 7 volunteers at the same time.

Food

Volunteers prepare their own breakfast, the host provide bread, milk, eggs, and coffee (chocolate, or tea)
The lunch and dinner are prepared by a cooker and it is served in the Zoorefugio. The food is provided by the owner.
The beverages, ice cream and others are not included in the fee.
In your days off the food is not our responsibility.

We work from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday volunteers have day off.

Particularly in rural areas, where much of the local people live, there is a desperate, chronic shortage of medical personnel and supplies. Medical school students’ activities will include things like following doctors on their rounds, exploring different treatments for simple ailments, providing physical therapy, and participating in vaccination programs. Placement:
So far as placement is concerned stay in a Nepali family where they are offered Nepali food twice a day (around 9 o’clock in the morning and 7 o’clock in the evening). Tea is served in the morning and afternoon with some snacks. Usually school, local organization/club/women groups and Health post at easy distance away and the volunteers will have to work 4-5 hours everyday. Generally health post starts at 10 a.m. over 2pm. More often than not, health post run 6 days a week and Saturday is a holiday. On that day the volunteers can get together and share their experiences. They can travel to nearby towns to purchase things for daily use and other areas in case of longer vacation. Besides their teaching time, volunteers can utilize their spare time in organizing the youth and women’s groups of the community to do some worthwhile activities regarding avoidance of plastic materials and raise awareness about income generating programs.

There is a program fee associated with our program as we don't have any donor agencies; our organization is run by volunteers' and internship fees. The program fee covers airport pick up, administrative charge, training, accommodation during training at hotel, some measure sightseeing around Kathmandu during training, transportation to and from placement, accommodation and meals during placement and airport drop off. We also provide scholarships to needy children and donate funds to the schools we are affiliated with.

Upon your arrival in Nepal, you will be placed at hotel in Kathmandu 1-4 days for orientation and training. You will be provided intensive orientation for a few hours every day that will help you to be well prepared to adjust with your chosen projects. This project is actively working for SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), organized together with NPO WHITE CANVAS since 2024, a Non Profit Organization to empower mentally challenged people through the power of art. It was established by Kyoko who was a very active members of NICE with a lot of workcamp experiences in Togo, etc. and the company who had been working with her. Then more members joined when the workshop was about to open. They organize the workshop "TIME WARP" that is a workplace for adults with special needs for weaving, pottery, small garden and embroidery work. They all love art and craft, having big interests on humans. They don't stick in specific philosophies, but anthroposophy is one of their guides. They work and study together with a certified anthroposophical doctor, nurse, curative pedagogists and Extra Lesson practitioners.

Outcome of this workcamp: In 2024, 6 vols. from 4 countries greatly contributed to cut the glasses, friendly exchange with the challenged people and assist the activities/ events!

Volunteers will play a vital role in supporting an inclusive art event organized by and for mentally challenged adults, working alongside local community members and professional artists. This unique initiative involves creating large-scale paintings using natural materials like soil as paint, guided by an experienced picture book artist. Participants will help prepare event venues, maintain workshop spaces including outdoor fields and storage areas, and assist with daily atelier activities such as plant-based dyeing and setting up weaving looms.

Beyond the artistic work, the program fosters cross-cultural exchange through discussions comparing volunteer experiences in their home countries with Japan's art brut and outsider art traditions. The experience is enriched by social gatherings, visits to local hot springs, and excursions during free days, offering volunteers a well-rounded immersion in both the creative process and the natural beauty of Nagano's mountain region.

Volunteers will sleep in the tatami (Japanese traditional carpet) rooms of a separate house near the office of White Canvas. Meals will be cooked by volunteers by turns (lunch will be sometimes prepared with the host).

The main objective of the project is for volunteers to support the organization and execution of this annual event. Their efforts will be essential in coordinating activities, assisting participants, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Through their
involvement, not only will the event be a success, but it will also create a positive impact in promoting respect for nature and biodiversity
Volunteers will carry out the following activities
• Collaborate in the organization and planning of the race.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of necessary materials.
• Be involved in the race, helping with various tasks during the event.
• Participate in talks on educational topics related to the event.
• Help receive and coordinate the participation of schools at the zoo.

Conditions to participate in our Workcamps and MTVs in Mexico:
1. To be older than 18 years.
2. To be able to communicate in English (English is the official language of all our projects)
3. To speak Spanish is recommended.
4. To participate for the whole duration of the project.
5. The start date of the project is the welcome day, and the last day is the departure day of the project.
6. The extra fee must be given to the project leader/camp coordinator in Mexican pesos on arrival to the project.
7. In the case of projects that have extra fee, the exchange rate will be informed to your volunteers by our incoming officer prior to the arrival to the camps.
8. Usually, volunteers will work five days per week followed by two days off, so they can use their leisure time to explore the area and enjoy the different activities that the places where they will stay have to offer, please do note that these conditions may
vary according to the local conditions and needs of each camp.
