Волонтеров ждут следующие задачи:
1) Восстановление разрушенных туристических троп и природных объектов
2) Небольшие реставрационные работы на объектах культурного наследия вдоль реки Филведа
3) Работы по поддержанию местной флоры, фауны и ландшафта, включая противопожарные меры
4) Обрезка и уборка растительности, борьба с инвазивными видами
5) Сборка скворечников для птиц, насекомых и летучих мышей
6) Презентация и обсуждение природных и социальных аспектов родных мест волонтеров

Условия
Проживание будет организовано в доме для волонтеров, в общих спальных комнатах.
! Участники должны привезти собственное постельное белье (включая подушки и одеяла) или спальные мешки !
Будет обеспечен полный пансион: завтрак, обед и ужин. Еду будут готовить сотрудники местной столовой, прием пищи будет происходить либо в столовой, либо на местах работы.

Nishiwaga is a rural town surrounded by beautiful nature such as forests and lake. On the other side, it faces serious aging society and depopulation, and over 45% of villagers are 65 years or older. More and more farmers have retired, and many farmers suffer from a shortage of successors. OAUN has tried to revive deserted cultivated lands, organized some projects for interaction between urban and rural areas to activate the community. In 2017, the project for biotope development newly started to promote sustainable organic farming. From few years ago, OAUN started to accept some company group through NICE. The company choose this project site, because of hospitality of OAUN. They have
really warm heart and welcome to volunteers.
This project is actively working for SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with Ono Agriculture Union in Nishiwaga (OAUN), since 2014.

Volunteers will mainly work on 1) Renovation of the vacant house and 2) Support and interaction at facilities for people with disabilities, 3) Communicating with primary and high schools in the town,
4) meeting to show respect for the aged.
Volunteers will get knowledge of history and culture of Nishiwaga and have time for sharing ideas how to activate the depopulated area.
Volunteers can also join for cultural exchange parties with locals as well as activity with nursery school kids.

Nishiwaga town, center of Tohoku area (north part of Japan), and located in border between Iwate and Akita prefecture. It surrounded by beautiful mountains, and famous for hot spring (there is one even in a train station)! In their free time volunteers can take bath in hot springs.

Одно из ключевых направлений работы социального проекта I Locandieri — возвращение к жизни имущества, конфискованного у мафии.
Il Giardino delle Arance — один из таких объектов, конфискованный у мафии и возвращённый людям. Это небольшое здание конца XVIII века с тремя гектарами земли, которое отреставрировали и превратили в дом для помощи несовершеннолетним мигрантам.
Также на территории:
- 2 гектара цитрусовых рощ
- 1 гектар земли, где разбит органический огород
- постройки, где урожай готовится к последующей продаже
Вид работ
Волонтёры будут помогать в уходе за органическим огородом: выращивание, посев и сбор урожая, а также в подготовке магазина овощей и фруктов. В зависимости от ситуации возможна помощь с небольшими ремонтными работами.
Труд в основном физический, и из-за жары работа ведется только в утренние часы — с 7:00 до 12:00. Вторую половину дня волонтёры свободны, есть возможность исследовать окрестности или доехать на общественном транспорте до пляжа.
Если участникам будет интересно, можно организовать мастер-классы по оформлению интерьера дома. А в конце смены можно провести кулинарный мастер-класс вместе с волонтёрами кооператива и молодыми мигрантами, которых он принимает.
Члены кооператива поделятся своими историями об управлении имуществом, конфискованным у организованной преступности, а также расскажут об органическом земледелии.
Условия
Волонтёры будут жить в небольшом здании конца XVIII века, переоборудованном в уютный дом с тремя гектарами земли вокруг. В доме четыре спальни (две трехместные и две двухместные) с шкафами, деревенская кухня, три небольших санузла с душем и гостиная.
Снаружи много места, где можно насладиться летней погодой. Волонтёры сами отвечают за приготовление еды, уборку и поддержание порядка и безопасности в доме. Есть Wi-Fi.
Кастельветрано — маленький город на Сицилии, в провинции Трапани. Он известен своей богатой историей, в частности близостью к археологическому комплексу Селинунт — одному из крупнейших городов Древней Греции на Сицилии.
Город славится производством высококачественного оливкового масла, а его исторический центр богат памятниками архитектуры.
В 4 километрах от места проживания находится сосновый лес, а исторический центр — всего в километре.

"Подключайся!" (YouConnect) - молодежный ворк-кемп в небольшом городе Тарока на севере Португалии.
Главными целями ворк-кемпа являются укрепление чувства принадлежности у молодых людей, помощь в их самореализации и усиление коллективной ответственности, а также поддержка общественных инициатив жителей Тароки и соседних муниципалитетов.
Волонтеры будут выполнять ряд четко определенных задач, разделенных на экологические, сельскохозяйственные, образовательные и культурные мероприятия.

Волонтеров ждут следующие задачи:
1) Общественно-экологические работы: уборка и сбор мусора на пеших маршрутах, сельских дорогах и прочих территорий, благоустройство общественных мест
2) Сельскохозяйственные работы: уход за сельскохозяйственными угодьями, сезонные работы по сбору урожая
3) Культурно-образовательные работы: сессии обмена культурным опытом, участие в межкультурной социальной лаборатории, исследование окружающей территории и составление карт местности (карта землепользования, карты социальной и общественной динамики), организация молодежных мероприятий
Условия

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), organized together with Kyodo Gakusha since 1998, a cooperative community where people with various
backgrounds such as mentally disadvantaged, people who are tired of city life, who wants to learn farming, just want to live in the nature, etc. They have 5 communities in Tokyo, Nagano and Hokkaido and grow animals and vegetables in ecological, organic way with utilizing bacterium and charcoal.
Shintoku farm has 60 ha of land and 60 inhabitants including kids. Their cheese got the 1st prize in the global contest! The workcamp has been stopped since 2020 and revived this time!
*Outcome of this workcamp: The workcamps have greatly shared the spirit of the community and also do some that is hardly done by their daily work such as construction of sheep farm, irrigation ditch, etc. In 2024, 4 vols. from 3 countries helped to harvest the vegetables, run the cafe, etc. and had a wonderful exchange in the school visit. This project is actively working for SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), organized together with NPO WHITE CANVAS since 2024, a Non Profit Organization to empower mentally challenged people through the power of art. It was established by Kyoko who was a very active members of NICE with a lot of workcamp experiences in Togo, etc. and the company who had been working with her. Then more members joined when the workshop was about to open. They organize the workshop "TIME WARP" that is a workplace for adults with special needs for weaving, pottery, small garden and embroidery work. They all love art and craft, having big interests on humans. They don't stick in specific philosophies, but anthroposophy is one of their guides. They work and study together with a certified anthroposophical doctor, nurse, curative pedagogists and Extra Lesson practitioners.
Outcome of this workcamp: In 2024, 6 vols. from 4 countries greatly contributed to cut the glasses, friendly exchange with the challenged people and assist the activities/ events!

Volunteers will play a vital role in supporting an inclusive art event organized by and for mentally challenged adults, working alongside local community members and professional artists. This unique initiative involves creating large-scale paintings using natural materials like soil as paint, guided by an experienced picture book artist. Participants will help prepare event venues, maintain workshop spaces including outdoor fields and storage areas, and assist with daily atelier activities such as plant-based dyeing and setting up weaving looms.
Beyond the artistic work, the program fosters cross-cultural exchange through discussions comparing volunteer experiences in their home countries with Japan's art brut and outsider art traditions. The experience is enriched by social gatherings, visits to local hot springs, and excursions during free days, offering volunteers a well-rounded immersion in both the creative process and the natural beauty of Nagano's mountain region.

Volunteers will sleep in the tatami (Japanese traditional carpet) rooms of a separate house near the office of White Canvas. Meals will be cooked by volunteers by turns (lunch will be sometimes prepared with the host).

This project is actively working for SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with "Kamimamakuchi village" since 2013, and they tried starting new project with volunteer. Depopulation (especially of youth) is a serious problem here similarly in many other country sides. This village have only 20 families and very few young people. It is difficult to keep traditional culture and community work, so we aim to help keeping this landscape/cultures and telling local village’s attraction by young power!

Lohra Castle, located in northern Thuringia, Germany, stands as one of the region’s most representative medieval fortifications located in the vicinity of important trade routes that connected the medieval world of central Europe. Though its present form is modest, the castle continues to command a striking position within the hilly landscape near a natural reserve.
With a history spanning over a thousand years, the site reflects multiple layers of architectural evolution, shaped by shifting political, economic, and social contexts over the centuries. The architectural ensemble of Lohra Castle presents a rich assortment of historical styles, with elements dating back to the 11th century. Traces of medieval fortifications and towers, as well as a Renaissance-era manor house, further illustrate the site’s transformation from a medieval defensive stronghold into a more residential and agricultural complex.
Despite its historical significance, Lohra Castle was abandoned for several decades, leading to neglect and structural deterioration. In the 1990s, the site was rediscovered and revitalised through the efforts of Open Houses, which has since used the castle as a base for heritage conservation, cultural initiatives, and international collaboration. Today, it serves as a centre for volunteer-driven maintenance efforts such as this workcamp, welcoming participants from across the world to engage with its unique built heritage.
Project description
Lohra Castle, with its centuries-old architecture and vast natural surroundings, is not only a site of historical significance but also a living, functioning place that requires continuous care and attention. This workcamp offers volunteers the opportunity to actively contribute to the sustainable management of the castle, ensuring that its grounds remain accessible, welcoming, and well preserved. While this workcamp does not involve hands-on heritage conservation interventions, it plays an equally essential role in the long-term care of the site, allowing future visitors and guests to experience and appreciate Lohra Castle as a harmoniously maintained historic and natural space.
The projects of Open Houses are based on sustainable principles, ensuring that Lohra Castle is maintained not just as a historical monument but as a living environment where culture and nature coexist. The castle is surrounded by a vast natural protected area, making its preservation an effort that combines aspects of cultural and natural heritage conservation. Through their contributions, volunteers help safeguard the balance between history and nature, keeping Lohra Castle a welcoming place for future generations of visitors, researchers, and heritage enthusiasts.

The work also extends to the general maintenance of communal spaces and halls, contributing to the overall experience of visitors who use the castle for cultural events, educational programmes, and retreats.
Beyond the practical tasks, the workcamp offers a unique and immersive experience. When the castle closes its doors to the public in the evenings, it becomes the volunteers' home, a place where they can experience the privilege of inhabiting a medieval site. In this way, they take on the role of stewards, caring for the space as if it were their own.

Португалия: Другой мир возможен! (PT-PO-01-26 Another World is Possible!)

Амаранте - небольшой город на севере Португалии, входящий в субрегион Тамега. Это место известно своим культурным наследием и сильной винодельческой традицией.
Вокруг города расположено множество фермерских угодий и виноградников, приверженных принципам органического сельского хозяйства - метод, в рамках которого происходит сознательная минимизация использования синтетических удобрений, пестицидов, регуляторов роста растений, кормовых добавок.
Ворк-кемп "Другой мир возможен!" (Um outro mundo e possivel!) организован для помощи таким фермерствам и распространения идей органического земледелия за пределами региона.
Волонтеры изучат основы органического земледелия и принципы справедливой торговли, а также поддержат мелких производителей органической продукции в регионе Тамега.
