Based on the time of the year the volunteers will be working during the day or at night in the months of August and September from 20:00 to 08:00. Depending on the number of turtles that come ashore, two teams might be formed among the volunteers. In this way, each group will be taking turns, working one night, and taking the next night off for recovery. In addition, the weekends are also spared for resting. Some of the activities to be performed are:
1. Finding adult turtles and collecting their eggs.
2. Moving the eggs to a protected place called Vivero.
3. Releasing newborn baby turtles into the sea.
4. Patrolling the beaches at night.
5. Making some reconstruction in the most important turtle camps of the region.
Please consider that the schedule is subject to change depending on the weather conditions and the condition of the sea turtles and it is possible to work with crocodiles in case there is no work with turtles, this can happen mostly in the months of January and February. The coordinator or the camp leader will be informing you regarding your work schedule


Conditions to participate in our Workcamps:
1. To be older than 18 years.
2. To be able to communicate in English (English is the official language of all our projects)
3. To speak Spanish is recommended.
4. To participate for the whole duration of the project.
5. The start date of the project is the welcome day, and the last day is the departure day of the project.
6. The extra fee must be given to the project leader/camp coordinator in Mexican pesos on arrival to the project.
7. In the case of projects that have extra fee, the exchange rate will be informed to your volunteers by our incoming officer prior to the arrival to the camps.
8. Usually, volunteers will work five days per week followed by two days off, so they can use their leisure time to explore the area and enjoy the different activities that the places where they will stay have to offer, please do note that these conditions may vary according to the local conditions and needs of each camp.

Приехать в Ломе — значит погрузиться в среду, где солидарность обретает свой подлинный смысл. С 2009 года и в 2026 году в проекте участвуют молодые волонтеры из Бельгии и Франции, а языком общения в группе и с местным коллективом будет французский.

Волонтеры получат возможность внести свой вклад в различные совместные местные проекты по следующим темам:
• Поддержка образовательных и социальных инициатив;
• Экологические акции;
• Организация межкультурных семинаров для содействия обменам между участниками из трёх стран;
• Повышение осведомлённости о местных проблемах и поиск их решения
Эта программа требует от участников серьёзной приверженности ценностям волонтерства и культурной открытости. Сотрудничество проходит в духе солидарности и взаимного уважения.

О размещении:
Международные волонтеры будут размещены в Ломе, столице Того. В волонтерском доме, где также находится и координационный офис организации, по два человека в комнате, в комфортных и удобных условиях (есть общая кухня и душевые).

О питании:
Еду готовят местные и международные волонтеры, предлагая вам восхитительное знакомство с тоголезской кухней. Местная еда ароматная и разнообразная, часто в основе которой лежат зерновые, корнеплоды и ароматные соусы. У вас будет возможность попробовать такие местные блюда, как фуфу (паста из толченого ямса), паста из кукурузной муки с арахисовым или бамиевым соусом, а также блюда из риса и бобов. Совместная трапеза — это особое время для общения и налаживания связей. Приготовление блюд на европейский вкус тоже возможно, так как у волонтеров будет возможность готовить для всех по договоренности и обмениваться рецептами блюд. Стоимость питания включена во взнос. Пить рекомендуется бутилированную или кипяченую воду.

О местоположении
Ломе — портовый город на берегу Гвинейского залива, расположенный на крайнем юго-западе Того, на границе с Ганой. Ломе — политическая, экономическая и культурная столица страны, с населением около 1,5 миллиона человек, очаровывает посетителей сочетанием современности и африканских традиций.

Это тёплый и гостеприимный город, известный своей добротой и умиротворяющей атмосферой. Основной язык общения — французский, но также встречаются эве, мина и другие местные языки. Повседневная жизнь вращается вокруг рынков, небольших магазинчиков, музыки и непринуждённых уличных бесед.
Рынки Ломе, такие как знаменитый Гранд Марше (Гранд Маркет) и рынок Фетиш, — это настоящие красочные лабиринты, где можно найти ткани, изделия ручной работы, тропические фрукты, специи и традиционные предметы. Город также пульсирует под звуки тоголезской музыки — от афробита до госпела.

Волонтерская деятельность состоит в том, чтобы совместно с участниками из франкоязычных стран провести образовательные встречи в местных школах как в самой столице, так и в подопечном поселении недалеко от Ломе. Условия

Взнос включает встречу в аэропорту, обратный трансфер, проживание в волонтерском доме (туалет, душ, кухня), питание, культурную программу и туристические поездки, полное сопровождение и кураторство со стороны принимающей организации, сертификат участия. С момента своего создания в 1995 году ассоциация "Le Fagotin" постепенно развивала свою деятельность, пока не стала крупным образовательным и туристическим актором в бельгийских Арденнах. Сегодня ассоциация состоит из «Центра природы», «Анимационной фермы» и «Центра для встреч и проживания». Ценности ассоциации сосредоточены вокруг четырех ключевых понятий: гражданство, устойчивость, солидарность, доброжелательность.

Как летом, так и зимой команда "Le Fagotin", состоящая из опытных аниматоров, предлагает лагеря, экскурсии с гидом и без, мастер-классы, прогулки, тренинги, встречи и т.д., чтобы познакомить всех, особенно молодежь, с чудесами природного наследия Валлонии. Обычно (вне периода COVID) команда состоит из 16 сотрудников, которые ежегодно принимают более 10 000 человек.

Сама ассоциация, и соответственно проект, находится в Стумоне (Бельгия). Это тихая деревня, окруженная лесами. Каждый год около пятнадцати волонтеров приезжают в Стумон и помогают на ферме.

Вид работ

Задачи волонтеров будут варьироваться в зависимости от потребностей фермы. Волонтеры могут помогать как с физической работой, так и с выполнением социальных задач. Они также будут участвовать в повседневных делах фермы (готовка, мытье посуды, прием групп и т.д.).
Физическая работа на ферме состоит из множества различных задач: уход за зелеными насаждениями (стрижка, обрезка, работа на огороде), сезонные строительные работы (ремонт заборов, хозяйственных построек, покраска и др. мелкий внутренний и уличный ремонт).
Социальные задачи включают помощь команде в организации мероприятий. Некоторые мероприятия предназначены для детей и подростков, другие - более туристические (прогулки на ослах, пикники и походы и т. д.).

Условия

Проживание: волонтеры могут ночевать либо в палатке (душ и туалет имеется) либо в жилом здании. Величина взноса будет варьироваться в зависимости от выбранного варианта проживания.

Питание: волонтеры должны будут покупать и готовить еду самостоятельно; им будет обеспечен доступ к кухне.

This project is actively working for SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), organized together with NPO WHITE CANVAS since 2024, a Non Profit Organization to empower mentally challenged people
through the power of art. It was established by Kyoko who was a very active members of NICE with a lot of workcamp experiences in Togo, etc. and the company who had been working with her. Then more members joined when the workshop was about to open. They organize the workshop "TIME WARP" that is a workplace for adults with special needs for weaving, pottery, small garden and embroidery work. They all love art and craft, having big interests on humans. They don't stick in specific philosophies, but anthroposophy is one of their guides. They work and study together with a certified anthroposophical doctor, nurse, curative pedagogists and Extra Lesson practitioners.
*Outcome of this workcamp: In 2024, 6 vols. from 4 countries gathered for the first short term international workcamp and greatly contributed to cut the glasses, friendly exchange with the
challenged people and assist the activities/ events!

1) Prepare, assist and finalize the daily work of the members for their weaving, pottery,
drawing, etc. including making things in the atelier (e.g., dyeing plants and trees, setting up weaving machines, etc.),
2) Support for the art event conducted by mentally challenged adults together with community members and artists (Event is scheduled to be held in various locations to produce large
paintings in a field using soil as paint under the guidance of a picture book artist.),

Volunteers will sleep in the tatami (Japanese traditional carpet) rooms of a separate house near the office of the host organisation White Canvas. Meals will be cooked by volunteer her/himself (lunch will be often prepared with the host). There is a shower room, a kitchen and wifi. Bicycle can be available.

The project is located in Azumino-city, Nagano pref.; foothills of the Northern Alps of Japan. 189 km north west from Tokyo, 150km north east from Nagoya. It is famous for beautiful nature as well as the fresh, tasty fruits especially, apples! There are no shops nearby.

The countless species of plants and animals, as well as different habitats, are unique on our planet; in Germany alone there are around 70,000 different animals, plants and microorganisms. This biodiversity forms the basis of all life, but nature is increasingly under threat. This camp is about the protection of meadow birds, some of which are threatened with extinction. You will work thematically, practically and creatively with experienced staff
from various biological stations to protect them.

First week volunteers will spend close to the Dutch border.

What to bring: • Rain jacket and rain trousers (mostly you have this for bike riding)
• Working clothes: that cover arms and legs (could get dirty and is robust)
• Working shoes: sturdy, closed and rainproof shoes (no sneakers, trainers, sandals, Flip-flops etc...)
• Rubber boots if possible!
• Warm clothes (even in summer the evenings in Germany can be quite cold)
• Waterproof clothing
• Slippers or socks, house shoes you need them for the accommodation!!
• Light, sporty clothing

This workcamp offers you the opportunity to get to know two different regions. In the first week, you will be right on the Dutch border. Here you live in a very rural area, the nearest town is 10 km away. However, you will be provided with bicycles, which will take you on a discovery tour of the Netherlands in the direction of Winterwiek on Wednesday of the first week. You get to know a typical Dutch community with a weekly market and Kramermarkt
and head to the Meddosee beach club. In the beautiful half-timbered town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, you are accommodated in the center of Wiedenbrück with stores, cafes and bars. The outdoor pool is nearby, and you can barbecue, chill out, play table tennis or go on excursions to the university towns of Münster, Bielefeld or Paderborn.

You will work with experienced staff from various biological stations. We start right on the Dutch border. You will be there working and learning a lot about their work at the Biological Station and about the protection of meadow birds. You will help in a protected area and remove shrubs and birch so that the area is free for meadow birds again. You will cycle the 4 km to the reserve. Day 2 offers a circular walk and you get to know different birds and learn to identify them. Afterwards, the 2 days serve as a practical and creative day for a sustainable meadow bird conservation project. Then, you move on to the next project area. In the second project, your work is primarily practical. You will help to optimize the breeding sites of endangered meadow birds, which are mainly located near bodies of water. So you'll head off into shallow water and onto small gravel islands in your rubber boots to pull out willow seedlings and create gathering and resting places for animals.

In this camp you are in two different places! Also important for your arrival and departure.
The first week you will be accommodated in the brand new guest house of Biologische Zwillbrock e.V.. There are shared rooms, plenty of bathrooms and a self-catering kitchen with a dining area. There is also a terrace and the opportunity to barbecue. On Saturday, you will then move to the beautiful half-timbered town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück. There you will be accommodated in the guest house of the Wiedenbrück monastery. In shared rooms and with your own kitchen and sufficient sanitary facilities, you can also sit in the courtyard.
You are right in the center of Wiedenbrück.

It is absolutely necessary that you can ride a bike. In the first week you live in a very rural area and there is no other transport!
