На наших реабилитационных программах мы помогаем детям, подросткам и семьям, столкнувшимся с тяжелым заболеванием, вернуть себе радость жизни и уверенность в собственных силах. Мы помогаем им увидеть, что они могут гораздо больше, чем привыкли думать за время болезни.

Каждый день смены в «Шередаре» наполнен интересными событиями. Семьи участвуют в активных занятиях (катание на лошадях, стрельба из лука, прохождение веревочного парка), а также занимаются в творческих мастерских (мульт-студия, фотография, рукоделие). Это позволяет им отвлечься от тяжелых воспоминаний, выразить себя и осознать, как много всего у них отлично получается! Наши вожатые (мы их называем шери - от слова "Шередарь") и руководители кружков (мастера) всегда поддерживают, создавая дружескую атмосферу и помогая ему обрести уверенность в собственных силах, медицинские волонтеры гарантируют заботу о здоровье наших подопечных, а фотографы помогают запечатлеть все счастливые моменты смены.

Реабилитационная программа для семей, в составе которых есть ребенок, перенесший онкологическое заболевание, состоится 13 октября - 27 октября 2025.

Вид работ

1. Волонтеры-шери (вожатые) проживают отдельно от семей - закрепление за семьей и возрастной группой (0-6 лет, 7- 12 лет, подростки, взрослые)

Сопровождение по программе, командообразование, вовлечение на мастерских и мероприятиях, организация внутрикомандного времени.

2. Волонтеры-мастера проживают отдельно от семей.
Разработка мастер-класса до смены (подробное планирование с учетом возрастных особенностей, наполнение, адаптация, если необходимо), а во время смены проведение мастер-классов для всех групп (дети, родители, вся семья) , а также участие в проведении вечерних мероприятий. На роль мастера мы ищем креативных людей, которые умеют вдохновить и заинтересовать)

3. Волонтеры-фотографы проживают отдельно от семей. Во время смены:
- подготавливают фотоматериалы смены для детей и родителей;
- подготавливают отчет для партнеров фонда.

Условия

Для волонтеров проводится обучающий тренинг. По итогам тренинга и программы все участники получают сертификат о прохождении теоретического курса по реабилитационному терапевтическому отдыху семей.

Волонтерам предоставляется бесплатное проживание в уютных деревянных коттеджах, трёхразовое питание, трансфер из Москвы и Владимира до лагеря и обратно.

А также участие в проекте может быть засчитано студентам (направления подготовки уточняйте у координаторов) как практическая работа по специальности.

Для участия в смене необходимо:
- получить справку об отсутствии судимости (заказать ее можно на портале "Госуслуги" в электронном виде - это бесплатная услуга);
- иметь медицинскую книжку для работы в сезонных детских и подростковых учреждениях.

Pathshaala : - Quality education for Slum children

The project "Pathshaala . . . back to school" is being managed by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan to provide quality education to poor deprived students. In addition to quality education, poor deprived children are being taught basic learning of discipline, cleanliness, English under the project.


Objective: -

To increase enrolment of students in the school
To initiate the community to advocate for the poor girls to have access to education
To increase the access of poor girls to education
To change the life condition of poor girls and boys through education
To empower their families economically

Activities: -

To provide quality education to deprived children.
To motivate children and parents for getting registered in schools
To make children learnt about cleanliness and discipline.
To teach deprived children basic learnings of English.
To select school drop-out weak children for the getting education in "Pathshaala".
To organise entertainment and game activities.
To provide study material for deprived children.
To make children understand about the importance of education for a better job

Achievements:

Quality education has been provided to more than 500 poor children approximately.
225 children were registered in schools.
Parents are becoming alert and vigilant by education.
The children have got confidence increased.
Other children are also getting inspired and taking admission in schools.
Un-educations is getting reduced gradually.
A positive environment of education is creating in the remote villages and slums which got benefitted from "Pathshaala".
Deprived children are also getting right to education.

A wonderful initiative to share happiness among street and slum children has been taken in Ajmer by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of Global Giving Foundation. Under this project, nutritious food, toys, sweets, new dress, chocolates are provided to street and slum children.

Efforts are taken continuously to enlighten the life of these unlucky children by means of fireworks, colors, water-guns, cake, etc on the occasion of festivals as Christmas, Diwali, Holi.



Demand of the Project

The life of slum and street children is surrounded by darkness. The sense of alienation of society leads them to get involved into immoral acts as theft, addiction, prostitution. Happiness is miles away from these children. They hardly get two meals a day. These unlucky and helpless children can never think of delicious food, toys, new clothes even in their dreams.

The society just gets them abuse, exploitation and the sense of alienation only which develops exasperation towards the society in their hearts. Lack of food leads them to suffer from malnutrition. Moreover, there life is full of darkness even on the occasions of festivals. Altogether, these slum and street children live their life in darkness staying miles away from happiness of childhood.

Make A Wish Program is Fulfilling the Dreams of those marginalized children living in the remote areas.

The Volunteers can do a Photography session or make documentary videos of all the work which we are doing with the marginalized people. We also have farming programs, so to educate the rural people about better farming techniques would be beneficial.

Daily program/ Timetable

Volunteer work is for only 4 1/2 hours in the morning every day, in the afternoon, we have free activities such as sports, Kenya traditional dance classes, traditional cooking classes, and sports. Weekends are made for exploring our country and Safaris with local volunteers and your fellow overseas volunteers. Below is a tentative Weekdays timetable;

6:00 am - if you are feeling motivated, you are welcome to join the daily meditation or morning exercise of running / GMY
8:00 am - We serve a delicious and healthy breakfast
9:00 am - 13:30 pm - Volunteer work
14:00pm to 18:00pm - Complementary activities (free time activities stated below)
4:00 pm - Yoga class, and learn Kenyan traditional songs, Dances, and cooking that will make you love Kenya even more, including our local Swahili language if interested. The classes are suitable for all levels and usually last about an hour and a half.

Back-up

We have well trained staffs in all the communities we engaged. Staff can be contacted 24 hours a day. They are responsible for your general well-being and liaise with your placement, accommodation, and support.
Volunteers incur small costs on placement since CSAG does not have a sponsor at this moment. This will be waived as soon as we receive sponsorship to place volunteers. Your cost now depends on the length of your stay and your accommodation preference.

Volunteering in a daycare is quite similar to the teaching projects in the day. You’ll be helping the teachers conduct their lessons, helping with drawings, sports, games and pupil learning. However there is an added dimension- you’ll be assisting with the general care of the children in the Daycare. Duties such as cleaning the roooms and clothes and helping with the cooking of meals for the children, as well as playing with and entertaining them. It’s a fuller but more demanding role than that of school volunteering, as you will be building emotional bonds of care with the children and providing pastoral support. A typical Daycare in Tanzania is home to sixty children ranging in age from 2 to 7. A nursery school teaching program usually takes place during the day. Approximately 40 children in total will attend the nursery school. Volunteers in this teaching program help teachers to do their lessons, drawings, sports and games.

Roles of Volunteers and Interns



· Teach in one of our classes (we have four different classes at the moment)

· Provide children with HIV / AIDS prevention education

· Provide first aid/medical help to children

· Teaching the children about basic house holdings:

1. Cleaning of utensils

Accommodation
HOME STAY ACCOMMODATION

Living is basic but all the Home Stays have electricity and running water and accommodate volunteers in safe and secure homes (some rural home stays may not have electricity or running water during times of drought). All home stays have been inspected thoroughly by local staff and chosen because of their safety and security. Most volunteers love their home stays and feel that they get a more authentic Tanzanian experience by staying there.


VOLUNTEER HOUSE

The Volunteer House is a western-style house with 6 bedrooms (all shared accommodations with bunk beds). It has 2 bathrooms with western-style toilets and occasional hot water for showers. The house also includes one double bedroom, and this room is generally reserved for married couples. The house is safe and secure, with a security guard and a large gate. In the volunteer house, there is a cook who cooks the meals for the volunteers.
(Please note that spaces in the volunteer house are very limited and can only accommodate 18 to 24 people).

You will be provided with 2 meals daily. Breakfasts generally consist of Chai (tea), toast, cereal, fruit and mandazzi (deep fried dough). Dinner usually sees traditional food such as ugali, chapatti, boga and irio accompany the meat and vegetables.

Each year, the zoo organizes the famous summer camp, a space designed for children who, over the course of three weeks, participate in fun and recreational activities with the support of trained instructors. These activities not only spark curiosity but also foster empathy and love for animals and the planet. In a safe environment surrounded by greenery and a variety of species, children have fun while gaining valuable knowledge about the reality of animals and the impact we can have on their
protection.
The project's goal is for volunteers to support facilitators and coordinators in the activities of the summer camp, actively engaging with the children in its dynamics. Through this experience, both volunteers and children will have fun and learn together, promoting values such as empathy, respect for nature, and environmental stewardship.

The main goal is to raise awareness among visitors about the importance of caring for the environment, biodiversity, and the preservation of flora and, especially, fauna. This is achieved through various activities carried out throughout the year.
Each year, the zoo organizes the famous summer camp, a space designed for children who, over the course of three weeks, participate in fun and recreational activities with the support of trained instructors.
Some of the activities that the volunteers will carry out include:
• Renovating some areas of the Zoo.
• Cleaning and repainting spaces to prepare for the arrival of children to the summer course.
• Preparing recreational activities and games with local facilitators to engage children during the summer course.
• Participating with the children in the summer course as support to the facilitators and activity coordinators at the Zoo, having fun and learning together.
