An administrative role would require the volunteer to have skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Tasks can be varied depending on time of arrival, but can include PR, Fundraising, writing the monthly Sambhali Newsletter and updating Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Instagram). As Sambhali is linked to the United Nations, by being provided with Special Consultative Status, we aim to participate by developing campaigns in Jodhpur in a variety of topics surrounding women’s empowerment (eg End violence towards women) at least on a yearly basis. Volunteers in this role would help to organise these campaigns. This role can also be combined with a teaching role.

You will need to work around 6 hours per day in a flexible way. Volunteers visit their projects from Monday to Friday so you are free on the weekends. Additionally, you need to attend a weekly volunteer meeting and sign up for volunteer shifts at the Sambhali Boutique in Jodhpur's Old Town on Sundays.

There is no fee for volunteers at Sambhali Trust.
The NGO will assist volunteers with finding accommodation. Please discuss details when applying to volunteer. Usually, volunteers stay at the Durag Niwas Guesthouse which is right next to our Sambhali House. The volunteer coordinator will advise volunteers on where to stay but expected costs at Durag Niwas are: non air-con room single 32,000 rps, shared 22,000 rps, and four shared 15,000 rps including three meals a day, drinking water, wifi, rooftop, picking up and dropping from Jodhpur airport, shared refrigerator and washing machine.

«Чистые ключи» основаны в 2012 году и является членом международного движения помощи взрослым людям с ментальной инвалидностью — Кэмпхилл.

Сейчас в «Чистых ключах» два просторных полностью оборудованных жилых дома, отдельное здание для мастерских, огород и сад. Каждый из сотрудников, взрослых людей с особенностями и волонтёров несёт по мере своих возможностей ответственность за жизнь в доме. И также каждый трудится в саду, огороде и теплице, на территории или в мастерских, где сотрудники и подопечные перерабатывают овощи и фрукты, готовят травяной чай и соль с травами, занимаются валянием шерсти, делают натуральные свечи. Но вместе мы не только трудимся, но и отдыхаем и проводим праздники. Важно, что мы не делаем «мероприятия» для особенных людей, а действительно готовим праздники и празднуем вместе, или на музыкальном вечере(который бывает у нас каждую неделю) мы не поём для «них», а все вместе поём, играем на гитаре и здорово проводим время.

«Чистые ключи» подходят вам, если вы:

Основная деятельность - это сопровождение взрослых людей с ментальной инвалидностью в быту и в инклюзивных ремесленных мастерских.
У нас открытое учреждение и нет агрессивных или совершенно недееспособных подопечных. Наши ребята умеют делать очень многое. В течение дня соцработники и подопечные совместно выполняют необходимую работу по хозяйству. Тип бытовой занятости зависит от дня недели и времени года.
Период с середины весны, лето и первая половины осени - это время, когда мы занимаемся земледелием. Помимо обычных дел в огороде (картошка-морковь-капуста) мы выращиваем и собираем ароматные травы и делаем из них травяные чаи и приправы. Вторая половина осени, зима и начало весны - это время работы в мастерских: войлочной, свечной, травяной.
Периодически появляется работа на свежем воздухе. Например, наколоть дрова, поработать в огороде, убрать снег на территории кемпхилла, затопить печь в доме и т.д. и т.п.

Условия

Help children of marginalized ethnic group to go to school

In our project area there is an ethnic group which is locally called Fuga (Potter Producers).

All young Children of Pottery families’ are serving their families by collecting clay soil from far area using their back and trashy materials from a town, which is used for burning the clay production at the final stage. Almost all of Pottery families’ children are out of schools. The other worst part is the young Children carried clay productions and took to neighbour town ‘Alemtena’ market (it is about 8km far from their living area) for sell. Due to a need for using their children labour force (which is considered as Child Labour.

Our main activity includes: Teaching young children different skills including English language at school, follow up and psychological support to marginalized and benzene sniffing addicted children and their families, referral Linkage of abduction and rape cases with Police office and Woreda Child, Women and Youth office, facilitating free medical treatment for our beneficiaries including financial support, training high school students about Gender Equality, Women and Girls Wright and Harmful Traditional Practices and Conducting coffee ceremony once a month.

We often struggle to run our programs and to raise funds from international donors. Many staff members are volunteers themselves and receive no or a very small salary. Кэмпхилльское движение наиболее развито как организационная форма социально-педагогической помощи лицам с ограниченными возможностями в Великобритании и Ирландии. Аналоги кэмпхилльских общин появляются в последнее время и в России.
Одна из таких общин находится в Смоленской области в деревне Пересветово. Это мы =)

Наша основная деятельность в кемпхилле - это социальная работа.
В нашей деревне сильны традиции кемпхилльского движения.
Жильем и питанием волонтера обеспечиваем. Если вы на долгий срок, то возможно официальное трудоустройство. В труд. книжке будет запись "социальный работник". Плюс небольшая зарплата.
Работа - сопровождение наших подопечных, организация мероприятий, уход, помощь в гигиенических процедурах. Горшки выносить не надо, но быть готовым к тому, что надо помочь подстричь ногти или почистить зубы вашему подопечному.
И еще есть небольшая мастерская, где мы валяем шерсть, изготавливаем различные изделия из шерсти. В летнее время выращиваем свой фирменный чай разных видов. Хозяйство - на экологических принципах био-динамического земледелия. Никакой химии.
Сейчас у нас два дома и одна мастерская. Население кемпхилла - 15 человек вместе с подопечными. В дальнейшей перспективе возможно расширение деревни до 6 домов. Участок - 2 га. Приоритетное направление - инклюзивные мастерские и сельское хозяйство.
Коллектив - дружный. В настоящее время нас 5 постоянных сотрудников. Живем в двух новых, больших и просторных домах с отоплением, водой, канализацией. И даже с вайфаем.
Выезд в цивилизацию возможен раз в неделю в ваш выходной. До Смоленска электричка добирается за час. Билет стоит где-то 70-80 рублей. Связь - лучше МТС или Мегафон.

Вид работ

Основная деятельность - это сопровождение, помощь и уход за людьми с ментальной инвалидностью, а также организация мероприятий для подопечных.
Период с середины весны, лето и первая половины осени - это время, когда мы занимаемся земледелием. Помимо обычных дел в огороде (картошка-морковь-капуста) мы выращиваем лекарственные травы и делаем из них фиточаи. Вторая половина осени, зима и начало весны - это время работы в мастерской. Там мы валяем шерсть, изготавливаем различные полезные изделия из шерсти. В планах сделать столярную и свечную мастерскую.
Периодически появляется работа на свежем воздухе. Например, расколоть дрова, поработать в огороде, убрать снег на территории кемпхилла, затопить печь в доме и т.д. и т.п.
