Duration of the project is 6 months. Expected Starting Date - Immediate. Results/Expected Outputs: - Translate all campaign related outputs (website, stories, infographics) - Create social media copy to support UN Environment campaigns - Translate all stories and press releases produced by UN Environment - Translate all regional web pages - Create a social media strategy for Russian audience to amplify UN Environment messages - Professionally translated documents and publications and online information needed from Chinese into English language. The translated information should convey the correct information/message to targeted audience/stakeholders. Education: University degree in linguistic studies, translation. Having passed the United Nations Competitive Examination for Chinese and English language Translators an added advantage. A combination of a postgraduate degree and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the competitive examination requirement. The Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) is paid at the end of each month to cover housing, utilities, transportation, communications and other basic needs.
