Duration of the project is 12 months. Expected Starting Date - Immediate. Results/Expected Outputs: - Programme planning & management for adolescent development and participation programs are developed and implemented timely and effectively. - Technical expertise enhanced UNICEF programming development and implementation to components related to adolescents and young people (particularly adolescent health and development), as well as contributions to policy initiatives. - Knowledge Management on adolescent issues is effectively advanced through programme development, project delivery and reporting - Advocacy, communication and networking efforts on adolescent development and participation is advanced among government and CSO partners. Education: A university degree in anthropology, communication, sociology, education or other social science field is required. Required experience - 48 months. Experience Remark: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in communications; Previous experience with development organizations is highly desirable.

The Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) is paid at the end of each month to cover housing, utilities, transportation, communications and other basic needs. The VLA can be computed by applying the Post-Adjustment Multiplier (PAM) to the VLA base rate of US$ 1,602. UNV provides life, health, permanent disability insurances as well as assignment travel, annual leave, full integration in the UN security framework (including residential security reimbursement).
