We invite you to our workcamp in Samara. This is an ancient monastery, an architectural monument of the 19th century. The monastery is one of the largest convents of the Volga region. The convent comprises three churches.

The workcamp has 2 sessions: Session 1: From July 8 till 17, 10 days Session 2: from July 18 till 28, 10 days The works for volunteers will include various preservation and cleaning works at monastery building made of stone and its surroundings The volunteer workcamp will include educational and cultural program. Our volunteers will participate in workshops and presentations, discuss with heritage administration and churchmen the importance of heritage preservation. They will also gain knowledge about russian ortodox heritage, local history and regional traditions. During the project guided tours and excursions will be organized to nearby located heritage sites of Samara region. You will live and work together with russian volunteers in friendly atmosphere. You can spent your free time walking along Volga river banks.

Accommodation is in the hostel in the center of Samara city. It's a comfortable hostel with toilet, bathroom with hot and cold water. Breakfast, lunch, dinner for free. They will have kitchen to cook food by themselves if they want to
