Social Worker Duties - Roles and Responsibilities - Create awareness on environmental issues. Increase people's awareness about the environment and associated challenges; - Promote conservation & sustainability; - Explore environmental issues; - Engage in problem solving and take action to improve the environment. Develop a deep understanding of environmental issues and have the skills to make informed and responsible decisions. Develop necessary skills and expertise to address the challenges and foster attitudes, motivations and commitments to make informed decisions and take responsible action; - Deliver presentations in schools; - Host groups at the site/Hub e.g school clubs study tours etc; The volunteer consultant contributes a participation fee of $20 per day, negotiable depending on duration of volunteer placement.
