We're doing an English Training camp base in the cool town located at the center of Central Java named Kedu, about 3 hours from Semarang airport, 2 hours from Yogyakarta airport, 6 hours by bus from Jakarta, and 24 hours from Denpasar. I live with my community.
We're focusing to help our people practice their English by doing their daily activities. They don't have real opportunities to speak in English even in their school. To give them motivation and meeting you from other country is a big thing for them, that is our motivation of making this profile. We have an evening chill at the coffee shop to give them a class and place to practice. The main goal is to be a speaking partner
I invite volunteers to help my program. We're singing English songs, do farming, cooking together, and discover locally.
In our free time, volunteers can visit the interesting places around Kedu such as Borobudur, Dieng plateau, beautiful mountain, traditional art, dance, coffee garden, hiking the volcano, walking around the ricefields.
You'll get a local breakfast, but also we can cook together.

The reason why we ask for a financial contribution from all of our volunteers and interns is because we aim to provide all of our projects for free to the local communities. These financial contributions make up a large part of our income to cover our operating costs. You can look at the contribution rates here http://otracosa.org/volunteer/contribution/. We believe our rates are pretty fair compared to rates other organizations in South America ask for. We also hold transparency extremely important so you can see where our contributions go in our Annual Reports. We will have 2019's report up soon. I know it seems kind of unfair to ask for a financial contribution when you offer your work for free but a lot of the contribution goes to the support system we offer such as airport pickups, weekly lunches, and fun weekend trips.

Otra Cosa Network is a well-established UK Registered Charity and Peruvian registered not for profit (NGO), addressing the educational needs of children and vulnerable adults in an extremely impoverished area of Northern Peru. We work in informal settlements where many community members have been displaced by climate change, disaster and political instability. They live in precarious circumstances, few have running water, sewage provision and there is only sporadic electricity. Additionally, many children are forced to work instead of continuing their education, in order to boost family finances and there are no community-based facilities for learning and developing new skills in a safe environment.
- Four schools for children in slums in New Delhi

We teach english, math and hindi. Read more on our home page: http://www.thriveseed.org/ourschoolprojects/
-Women's empowerment program
Unfortunately, many women in slums in New Delhi finds themself in horrible situations like not being able to care for their children after their husbands death etc. Sonu gives these women opportunities to support themselves and their children through self-sustainable enterprises. Teaching the women different skills such as sewing, candle-making and running their own businesses is just a small step towards giving these women more freedom and confidence. Arusha, Tanzania Teaching
We believe that a child’s future success and advancement in life is greatly influenced by their early educational experience as those who have go to school early develop an interest in education more than those who have not participated in early learning education – learning how to get along in groups, work under teacher supervision, etc. They also receive encouragement to express their feelings and ideas through building, dancing, and drawing, playing, singing and speaking. And thus, at the end of their pre-school years, they have become more competent pupils and will be more advanced in some of their abilities and be ready to master their new environment in primary and secondary education. We are located at Sanawari village -Arusha.
All volunteer work 5 days per week and 2 days for week end. And during the week end they can go to visit variety attractions such as water fall, Safari, Mountain trek,Hot water spring,Lake, Coffee plantation, Masai culture, And Zanzibar.
Once a volunteer arrive at our office he/she will fill the form and host family after that they will pay to host family amount for the all duration they stay at our project.
