ITALK CEC is looking for volunteers who will be responsible of teaching English to our students with 17 hours per week) to exchange with free- fully equipped accommodation, food and one mountain tour for one month volunteering.

1. The mission of the program The program has been operated since 2015 and is run all year round. It was founded by an American veteran. He participated in Vietnam war in the past (1969-1975), of course, on the side of the American army. After the war, like other American soldiers, he came back to the USA. When he retired, he decided to come back to Vietnam with the will to do something good for Vietnam in the hope of making it up to the past, and the charity English program was founded. That was the first mission of the program. He ran the program for a few years and now he is expanding it in another areas of Vietnam. We are in Hanoi to continue his will. In shorts, the program’s purpose is to offer students with little budget to access English by practical lessons with foreign volunteer teachers. 2. The details of the program Schedule of the classes (In total, 17 hours per week): On Tuesdays + Thursdays: 5.30- p.m or 6-7.30 p.m . On Wednesdays+ Fridays: 6-7.30, 7.45-9.15 p.m. On Saturdays: 9-10, 10.30-11.30 a.m, 4-5 p.m. 5.30-7 p.m On Sundays: 9-10, 10.30-11.30 a.m, 4-5 p.m 3. Volunteer’s responsibility: + Deliver English lessons to the students with the classes mentioned above. + Attend ESL Training Meeting(s) at ITALK office 4. Benefits + Free fully- equipped accommodation + Free food & drinks + Free mountain tour (if volunteer stays and volunteers for 1 month. Basically, one month, 1 tour) 5. Accommodation & Food + Location of the classes and accommodation: 196 Thai Thinh str, Dong Da dist, Hanoi, Vietnam + Accommodation style: Homestay with three meals per day (home made and eating out as well). + Room style: Dorms (Female room and Male room). Each room has four beds. + Private room (2 single beds) + Home appliances: Fully- equipped
